The Whole Boylan Family .. Extended Family Session at Crover House Hotel, Cavan

How lucky are we to get a sunny day for this family session at Crover House Hotel, the gardens are at their very best and is such a great place to meet up for photos.. followed by dinner together - of course! Its an extra special session because family is home from Australia and its a special birthday.. plus its hard enough to get the gang together without living half way across the world!

And don’t I know all about that! Its been 4 years since all my family has been together in Australia.

As families arrive we fill our time together with laughter and chatter and all the madness that falls inbetween when 20 people are gathered!! Individual families get their photos and couples and cousins and godparents and the newly engaged! This is more than just a gathering but making the most of an opportunity for lasting memories.

The grandkids fill the scene with their infectious energy. From playful interactions to gentle moments of affection, trying with each photograph to save these feelings. Followed by the big kids the OG Boylans getting to have their turns and laugh and bring back memories of all being in the same space together.. and not forgetting the WHOLE gang.. and what a gang!

I’ve photographed this family as they’ve grown over the last 8 years and after Marie caring for my kids when I was first settling back into life here in Ireland and she treated us like family its personal for me to make sure she gets the very best!

I delivered this gallery to the family over the summer and received this reply…

‘They are amazing and beautiful. We have watched the slide show 3 times already and I’ve cried every time. Thank you so so much, you really really got the shot, every shot! I just can’t thank you enough for capturing the moments and memories ❤️❤️’

And that is why I love my job.
